1. Wage Subsidy August 2021 #7
Applications for the COVID-19 Wage Subsidy August 2021 #6 will close at 11.59pm on Thursday 11 November. Applications for Wage Subsidy August 2021 #7 will open at 9am on Friday 12 November.
Your business needs to meet the eligibility criteria and agree to meet the obligations in the declaration to be able to get a COVID-19 Wage Subsidy August 2021 payment. It’s available to all New Zealand businesses and self-employed people that meet eligibility criteria.

2. Resurgence Support Payment (RSP) #5
According to the new changes to Resurgence Support Payments, the next payment will be open for applications from 12 November and doubled the amount compared to the previous ones. Payments will also be available fortnightly until Auckland moves into the new Covid Protection Framework.
The payment will be $3,000 plus $800 per full-time equivalent (FTE) employee up to a maximum of 50 FTEs, or four times the actual revenue decline experienced by the applicant, whichever is less.

On Friday 22nd October the Government announced an economic support package to support businesses affected by higher alert levels as the country transitions to the new COVID-19 Protection Framework.
Up to $3,000 worth of advice and planning support, and up to $4,000 to implement that advice. $10 million for mental health and wellbeing support through a programme that is to be designed.
